My name is Bethanie!
I'm 22 and I'm currently working in Japan. I have a degree in Asia Pacific Studies and a headache that has lasted since the day I finished my dissertation. It was difficult, it was long and it's my dissertation, MINE!
I don't have any hobbies anymore because I left them behind in Britain. I used to play instruments but they're all too big and jazzy to bring to Japan (at a reasonable cost) and I used to draw but then I started drinking instead and suddenly all my drawings looked wavy, silly, almost not quite in touch with reality.
This blog will record my efforts to actually make my life as a working woman a little bit more interesting. I need hobbies, and I need to be a little happier. Going to work, sleeping, going to work again and sleeping again isn't going to cut it. I'll have a bash at some stuff and tell you how it goes 'n that.
